The Laverne Area Chamber of Commerce invites community members to attend the 5th Annual Gold Leaf Gala. This distinguished event recognizes outstanding individuals and businesses whose contributions have strengthened and enhanced the Laverne community. Guests will enjoy an evening of celebration, including a social hour, dinner, and the presentation of the annual Chamber awards.
Nomination forms are available online and on the Laverne Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. Paper nomination forms are also available at the Chamber Office.
Nomination Deadline: Wednesday, October 15, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
Submission Location: Laverne Area Chamber of Commerce Office
Tickets will be available beginning October 9, 2025, at the Chamber Office and at Medic Drug & Gift.
Individual Tickets: $25
Tables: $140 (table of six)

Civic Volunteer of the Year
Commends an individual who promotes the quality of life in the community through exceptional volunteer service.
Citizen of the Year
Honors an individual whose dedication to the Laverne community has played a vital role in helping it thrive and succeed.
Public Servant of the Year
Acknowledges an individual who demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and excellence in public service. Eligible nominees include members of the Laverne Volunteer Fire Department, Laverne Police Department, Harper County Sheriff’s Department, Laverne EMS, Town of Laverne employees, and current or retired Laverne Public School teachers.
Legacy Award
Honors the memory of an individual who has made a lasting and meaningful impact on the community throughout their lifetime.
Community Improvement Award
Recognizes a business or individual who has made a significant improvement to the physical appearance or overall enhancement of their property or the community.
